The Indiana Fever's five-game win streak was snapped Tuesday night as the Los Angeles Sparks cooled off the WNBA's hottest team with a 100-91 win at Crypto.com Arena.
The game started at a blistering pace, but in the end Indiana just couldn't keep up against a team it hasn't been able to figure out all year. The Fever are now 0-3 vs. the Sparks this season.
Kelsey Mitchell led the Fever with 34 points and Aliyah Boston's streak of six straight double-doubles was snapped as she finished with 15 points and nine rebounds.
Rickea Jackson and Kelsey Plum had 25 points each to lead the Sparks, who opened the fourth quarter on a 14-4 run and led by as many as 22 points. The Fever cut the lead to six with 1:30 left, but couldn't get any closer.
Fever star Caitlin Clark missed her eighth straight game as she recovers from a right groin strain.
